We hope you have been enjoying the exploration of the Yamas, which weave their way through the many facets of our lives. As the fall begins to wind down and the winter settles in, we continue our discussions with a brief recap of Asteya and how that relates to the final two yamas, Brahmacarya (continence) and Aparigraha (without possessions) – sutrās II.38 and II.39 respectively.
Winter for many becomes a time of introspection, in this spirit take some time to go through all the sutrās that we’ve been looking at these past few months with respect to the yamas (II.30, II.31, II.35, II.36, 37, II.38, and II.39) and pick one that resonates with you. Time will be put aside for you to begin to journal about your chosen sutrā.
